Beef - stir fried beef and peppers
Ingredients
- 1 lb lean beef cut in paper thin strips
- 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 2 medium Onions quartered
- 2 small green peppers cut in squares or strips
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- cooked rice
Instructions
- 1. Combine meat strips with soy sauce, lemon juice, cornstarch, sugar and ginger. Let stand whle preparing vegetables
- 2. Heat salad oil in large frying pan. Stir fry onions, green peppers and salt until vegetables are tender crisp (about 5 minutes)
- 3. Lift vegetables from the fat and reserve
- 4. Stir-fry meat mixture in the hot oil until it loses it’s pink color (a minute or two). Add vegetables and stir until hot.
- Serve with cooked rice
